We headed to the west end and checked out GameTime in Mississauga. I had an amazing time there with my family.

Kids had a lot of fun playing the games; there were many arcade games that we have never tried before. After about an hour of arcade time, we got to redeem something small to take home.

We also tried the axe throwing; trust me, it's harder than it looks! We had practice throws, and let's just say axe throwing is not our forte. At least it was a great experience and workout, haha.

We ended the night with having dinner there. The food was delicious and the service was exceptional. There were times we did not see any waitors walking pass but given the number of tables, and on a weekend I can see how busy it can be.

We spent a rainy day at Gametime Eatery & Entertainment and really enjoyed our experience. The venue offered several games and activities such as axe throwing. I also liked the fact that it was reasonably priced (the games) and that it wasn't super crowded - I prefer this venue a lot more than the Rec Room in Toronto. I would have easily given this place a 5 star but I personally found the food to be a bit too expensive especially considering the fact that the portions were fairly small. Despite this, I ordered the chicken fingers and found them to be delicious. Overall, we had a great experience - this is a great date spot for sure!

Came here for lunch and games with my friend yesterday. I had the garlic parmesan boneless wings. They were more like chicken tenders/nuggets but were seasoned very well and fried to perfection. The food came in decent time and the staff were nice. My friend had the burger which was very well done as well; she said it felt like it was a hand made burger made from good quality meat. Didn't have drinks as it was still early in the afternoon and had to drive back home.

We shared a game card with around 300 or 400 credits in it. Lasted us a good hour or hour and a half. The games are the same ones you'll find in Playdium or Dave & Buster's, but the selection was significantly smaller. There are a couple of shooter games, driving games, etc but most games are redemption. That said though, some of the games didn't quite have enough balls like the basketball or clown throwing game so when playing you waste some time waiting for the balls to roll back down.

I saw a group doing axe throwing and noticed there are also pool tables and VR available. Taking into consideration they do all that under one roof, the arcade game selection is not bad. The venue offers a good mix of everything. I'd come back to try their other activities for sure.

Decor is nice and more polished than Dave & Busters, which is a good thing if you're coming with friends. I think this venue has more of a focus on food and drink with the axe throwing and arcade stuff on the side, whereas Dave & Busters and Playdium focus more on the gaming side. All in all a solid place to eat and play and spend a Saturday afternoon.

So this use to be WACKY WINGS.. didnt see the all you can eat wings on their menu anymore which o am a bit sad about..

I have never been into the game area before and I can say I'm very impressed with the amount of games they have but the credits I think is a bit expensive we hot 3 card with 20 each and that's only.100 credits and we had to load the card some for cause all their games are 5 credits or more.. but we ended up leaving with alot.of points 2981 to be exact and got lots of prizes (pikachu pillow. Sequence pillow. 2 glow bands. Glow cat ear headband. 2 bilud airplanes. Dominos and a gun with a string and ball on it) as long as you pick the right games your in luck.

Food.. I do think food is a bit over priced. We got the grand slam nachos $23.99 if I'm correct that has alot of topping beef guacamole.. didnt see any salsa and we did have to ask for salsa.
For the kiddos we ordered boneless chicken $8 with poutine which is $2 extra and fish and chips the fish in the fish and chips$8 was extremely oily and the fish was broken into pieces underneath the batter Poutine didnt look that appetizing had a clump of gravy .
The rest of us ordered the wing meal for $16.99 2 had gar parmesan fries which is an extra $4 for the drizzle topping which we though its tossed in the fresh not squeezed on but still good. Wings were ok we got honey garlic gar par. I tasted only the honey garlic Korean bbq which tasted like teriyaki sauce and some spicy bbq which I think was the best.. drinks we got the kids chocolate mill and ice tea.. we had club soda and Pepsi and one special drink was the trophy ceasar $13.50  which has boneless chicken fried pickle spicy bean pickle and one of those ball of cheese as a garnish in in a big glass 3oz of goodness.. we did split the Bill's and it's very expensive but total would have been $230

So I'm the end it is really expensive ot was good first experience just too much to pay to really enjoy.

You ever walk out of an establishment and say to everyone around you, "That was okay. It wasn't bad, right? Yeah, it wasn't bad." That is the definition of this place.

You leave somewhat satisfied, but you feel you could have had a better time somewhere else if you looked harder. The food is slightly better than typical pub fare, beer isn't as affordable as you'd want it to be and the arcade isn't tiny, but not that big or varied either. We skipped the VR and axe throwing booths, but after trying Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and PSVR, $25 for an hour of VR didn't seem worth it.

Severely lacking in classic arcade games, fighting games and hardcore gaming cabinets, the arcade portion is not as good as other "barcades", but the food is much better.

Overall, this experience is where you go when you want to scratch a few itches at once, but ultimately makes your desire for restaurant food, a time out drinking and arcades greater. It just doesn't hit the spot. Still, better than other places of similar style.

Edit: Still, compared to the different experiences you can find individually, Gametime is slightly lacking, but they get an extra star for reaching out. After posting my original review, the manager reached out and mentioned looking into other games. Sure, it may not ever be my ideal of a mixture between my favorite hometown bar / gourmet food and the Galloping Ghost arcade, but this shows that they're willing to listen.
